Jade plants grow slowly, but with one little trick you can turn a small seedling into a leafy little tree

The jade plant's leaves stay green all year round, its branches and trunk are graceful and upright, and its leaves are thick and fleshy. After being grown for a certain amount of time, it can even produce small pink and white flowers that are very beautiful. It belongs to the Crassulaceae family and is also called the jade plant tree. Jade plants grown at home grow slowly, so how can you make them grow fast and thrive?
How to grow and care for a jade plant
To grow a jade plant, you do not need to buy a seedling to plant. In fact, as long as a friend nearby has a jade plant, just pick a few leaves or a few branches from it.
Stick them directly into moist potting soil, keep them shaded and humid, and they will grow roots in just over ten days. A single leaf or a single branch can grow into a small jade plant seedling. It is very simple.
Jade plants are very tough and especially easy to keep alive. As long as you pay a little attention to watering, keeping the potting soil from getting too dry or too waterlogged, it can be grown for many years, and the small seedling gradually grows into a tree. If you want your jade plant to grow fast, just do these few things.
What kind of soil should be used to grow a jade plant? It is best to use leaf mold or nutrient soil mixed with sand and garden soil, so that the fertilizer is more abundant, and normally you do not need to apply more fertilizer for it to grow fairly vigorously.
During the jade plant's growing season in spring, summer, and autumn, when it is growing fast you can water it a bit more, just keeping the soil slightly moist. In winter, you need to control water in time. Generally, water when the potting soil has dried out; if it is not dry, do not water. It is relatively drought-tolerant. During the growing season, you can also water it with a little diluted nutrient solution to encourage faster growth and lush branches and leaves.
Repot about once every two years, because its plant grows fast, so you need to move it from a small pot to a slightly larger one, keeping a small amount of old soil, without damaging the roots, and adding fertile leaf mold, peat soil, and so on. Then it will grow like crazy.
In summer, when temperatures are high, you can place the jade plant in a spot with not-too-strong light, in a relatively cool and ventilated position, and water the soil in time. As long as the temperature is cool and ventilation is good, it will be in very good condition.
In autumn, before the frost, place the jade plant outdoors for a few days, or on a terrace, to receive plenty of sunlight, which can make it grow sturdier and prevent pests and diseases. In winter, place it on a warm balcony or indoors, sheltered from the wind and kept warm, and it will grow very well.
