How to save a pothos with yellowing leaves? A few practical methods to teach you
1. Water reasonably
Cause: Too much or too frequent watering will cause waterlogging in the soil where the pothos is grown, affecting the plant's root system and causing yellow leaves. Long-term lack of water will prevent the plant's leaves from carrying out normal physiological activities, thus causing yellow leaves.
Solution: First cut off the yellow leaves, then water the plant according to scientific methods. If you usually water too much, stop watering and place the flowerpot in a cool, ventilated spot to let the water dry out; if you usually water too little, replenish the water in small amounts several times.
2. Appropriate light
Cause: Too intense light will directly scorch the pothos leaves and make them turn yellow; while long-term darkness will also prevent the plant's leaves from synthesizing nutrients normally, thus causing yellow leaves.
Solution: First cut off the yellow leaves, then place the plant in a spot with bright but not intense light for growing.
3. Fertilize scientifically
Cause: A long-term lack of fertilizer will cause the plant to lack nutrients, leading to yellow leaves and other undesirable phenomena. And too much fertilizer will cause fertilizer to remain in the soil, affecting the plant's root system and thus causing yellow leaves.
Solution: First cut off the yellow leaves, then fertilize the plant according to scientific methods. If you usually fertilize too much, rinse the soil with clean water to wash away the fertilizer in the soil, and then reduce the frequency of fertilization; if you usually fertilize too little, apply light fertilizer frequently to replenish nutrients for it.
