The rose grafting method is very simple, you can learn it at a glance

The rose plant is simply a magical treasure given to flower lovers by heaven. A single branch stuck in soil can survive, and a branch grafted onto another tree stump can also survive. Once it blooms, it flowers for more than half a year. In the warm climate of the south, it even blooms all year round!
Now new varieties of roses have come out, such as this small tall-stem rose tree, which generally does not exceed 1 m, with a crown reaching about 40 cm. It can be planted in a garden or grown in a pot on a balcony, and the price is also relatively cheap. The wholesale price is generally more than 20 yuan, while the retail price may be around 100 yuan.
Flower lovers who like to tinker on their own can also graft by hand, saving money and gaining a sense of accomplishment. Of course, the grafting method for small tall-stem rose trees is also very simple. The grafting steps are similar to those for rose seedlings, and it is not as complicated as grafting rose trees of more than 2 cm.
Tool preparation
A blade, rose branches that have buds and are mature and plump, a rose stem, and plastic tape.
Bud grafting
The whole grafting process: cutting the bud, inserting the bud, and tying. Generally, a thornless rose stem should be used. Use a blade to make 3 cuts at the top, opening 3 bud positions: upper, middle, and lower.
Then cut at a 45-degree angle, make a slice from top to bottom, slightly smaller to make it easier to insert the bud, and then make the second cut 4 cm above the position just cut.
Notes after grafting
For grafted roses, first pay attention to water and fertilizer control. In the first week, basically just water a little and drip in a few drops of organic nutrient solution, keeping the soil slightly moist. Then after the second week, pay attention to sunlight; filtered light is better. After the third week, carry out normal care, because by then roots have basically formed, and at the same time you can also prune appropriately as needed.
