A plant that is easier to grow than pothos, it grows better with less watering, and cuttings root as soon as they touch water

Schefflera arboricola (umbrella tree) is an evergreen plant that is very easy to grow. It can grow normally in environments with weak sunlight, adapts to all kinds of conditions, and is both drought-tolerant and tolerant of waterlogged soil. It is fine to water it once every ten days to half a month. It really is easier to grow than pothos.
Of course, in summer, depending on what the potting soil calls for, water a bit more than in spring and autumn. Generally, just wait until the middle leaves feel slightly soft to the touch, then water thoroughly.
The leaf shape of Schefflera arboricola is quite distinctive, and its leaves are a rich, glossy green all year round. Its ornamental value is no less than that of pothos. It not only decorates the home beautifully but also purifies the air, making it very suitable for the living room and bedrooms.
Moreover, Schefflera arboricola has strong propagating ability; a single branch stuck in water will survive, and the method is simple too:
1. Cut off a healthy-growing Schefflera arboricola branch, then remove all the lower leaves, keeping just 2-3 leaves at the top;
2. Find a container and fill it with clean water, insert the Schefflera arboricola branch into the water, and place it in a bright spot with indirect light. It will root in about 10-15 days, then move it to a pot for soil cultivation.
3. After moving it to a pot, water thoroughly, then place it in a cool spot for care. Once the roots are strong, it can get more sun.
4. Schefflera arboricola grows quickly, so during the peak growing season you can apply a dilute liquid fertilizer once every 15 days to make its leaves an even richer green.
Schefflera arboricola grows fairly fast, and before long the cuttings will grow into pots of sturdy plants.
