The coin grass is placed on the windowsill. It does not have the bright colors of other flowers, nor does it have a fragrant scent, but I like it.
The leaves that coin grass has just grown are very small, and the little fuzzy balls held up on the stems are just like dandelion fluff. As the leaves grow a little bigger, the edges of the fuzzy balls gradually spread out, forming round green leaves with gear-like edges, very cute. After three or four days, the leaves have grown bigger, and the stems have also grown taller. As the name suggests, its leaves must look like copper coins. But I think coin grass looks more like little miniature lotus leaves, lush and green. What makes it different from other plants is that its stem has only one leaf, with no branching apart. My mom always says they look like little umbrellas.

Coin grass really likes sunlight, and it always grows toward the sun. It also needs plenty of water, so every day when I get up I have to water it. For two days my mom and I went to my grandmother's house. Because no one watered it, when we came back we found it drooping its head, looking completely listless. I immediately gave it a cold water bath, and before long, it was once again standing in front of me full of energy. It is clear that its vitality is very tenacious.
