A few days ago I posted several articles about jasmine for everyone. After reading them, many flower friends left me messages saying they had bought many pots of jasmine online, and when they arrived they were fine, but after keeping them for not long, all kinds of problems appeared, asking Chengcheng what the reason was?

Let me tell you: it is not that there is any problem with the flowers we bought, the fundamental reason is still that after we bring them home, the way we handle them is wrong! Today I will tell you: for jasmine bought online, how should it be handled after bringing it home to better ensure survival?

First,For jasmine bought online, after it is delivered home, first take a look at what kind of soil it is planted in. If it is planted in peat soil or coconut coir, basically no need to touch it, just find a flower pot about the same size as it and plant it in!

But if it is planted in clay soil, after it is delivered home, we need to break up this soil ball somewhat and repot it with loose, breathable soil! Everyone must pay attention to this point. The reason many flower friends fail to grow it well is mostly that they are ruined at this point, because jasmine planted in clay soil has soil with too poor looseness and breathability, and flower friends without a certain amount of flower-growing experience generally find it very hard to grow it well!

Second,After potting up jasmine bought online, it needs to be pruned. Since jasmine bought online basically all comes with flower buds, many flower friends cannot bear to cut them. Let me tell you: do not be reluctant, because when we pot it up, we will more or less cause some damage to its root system, and this damage will quickly show on the leaves and flower buds, that is, there will be some leaf drop and flower bud drop, so we might as well just cut them off, which can also reduce its nutrient consumption!

So how to prune? This is also very simple. Generally, we just cut it shorter at the position one third below the flowering branch. Since jasmine has terminal flower buds, old branches that have already flowered definitely will not flower again, so do not be afraid to cut it. After pruning, it will quickly sprout side buds, and these newly grown side buds will quickly grow flower buds!

For jasmine bought online, only by remembering these two points can you later grow it so it fills the whole room with fragrance! If you feel Chengcheng's explanation has been helpful to you, please give me a "like"! If you want to learn flower growing with Chengcheng, just click "follow"!
