Money tree cared for with two kinds of water and a sprinkle of powder: stems and leaves lush and green, no root rot

The money tree (Pachira aquatica) has an attractive form, with stems and leaves that stay green all year round. It is a very popular indoor foliage plant. Placing one pot at home adds a touch of green and also carries the meaning of "wealth rolling in."
Some flower lovers report that the money tree they grow has poor ornamental value, and few new shoots emerge; some even develop root rot. Today, Hua'er will introduce to everyone: caring for the money tree with these 2 kinds of water, plus a sprinkle of "it," keeps the stems and leaves emerald green and glossy, with no more root rot!
1. Willow branch water
The money tree grows vigorously, but when it reaches a certain size, its vitality decreases, so naturally fewer new shoots emerge. Also, as summer arrives, when the temperature exceeds 35°C, normal growth is affected. Willow branches contain large amounts of salicylic acid, willow acid and other substances, which can boost the money tree's vitality, promote rooting and sprouting, and make it branch and leaf abundantly.
Specific method: Collect some current-year, robust and tender willow branches, crush them and put them in a relatively large bucket, add clean water to soak (air conditioner water is best), and after soaking for four hours, take the supernatant liquid and directly water the money tree. Water once every 3-4 days. After watering continuously for half a month, stop; then after another half a month, decide based on the actual situation whether to continue watering.
2. Beer water
Beer contains large amounts of sugar, amino acids, protein and various other nutrients. It is the best "fertilizer" for foliar feeding of the money tree, and can make the money tree's leaves green and glossy.
Specific method: Collect leftover beer, let it sit for more than 3 hours first, then dilute it 10 times. It can be poured into a fine-nozzle spray bottle and sprayed onto the branches and leaves. When spraying, note that you should spray from bottom to top, making sure both sides are evenly covered, and on the second day, spray with clean water to rinse.
The money tree's trunk and branches look thick and strong, but its roots are very fine and easily rot. You can sprinkle some plant ash into the flower pot; it has a very good anti-rot effect, especially during the peak growing season. For flower lovers who worry that too much watering will cause root rot, they can sprinkle some plant ash into the flower pot every month.
However, note one point: plant ash is alkaline and is not conducive to the absorption of nitrogen, so use it as little as possible, and when using it, control the amount well; it should not be too much.
