Grow your clivia with this stuff for 3 months, and side shoots will sprout like crazy and it will bloom more

The clivia has a dignified and graceful plant shape, with verdant and upright leaves, large and brightly colored flowers, and red glossy berries. Its leaves, flowers, and fruit are all beautiful, earning it the reputation of flowers in one season, fruit in three seasons, and foliage in all four seasons. It is loved by many people. If you can grow a pot of clivia indoors, it is elegant and grand, and the key point is that it can also purify the air. However, some flower lovers say they cannot grow clivia well. Today I will share a little method, and I hope you like it!
Grow clivia with "it", and after 3 months you will see "amazing results", side shoots will keep sprouting, and there will be more flowers too!
What exactly is this "it"?
Actually, it is eggshells and fish bones. Clivia likes fertilizer, but when fertilizing, pay attention to applying less nitrogen fertilizer and more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. Eggshells and fish bones are precisely rich in these fertilizers.
Flower lovers can collect eggshells and fish bones from home (the fish scales and internal organs left after cleaning fish also work). After collecting these things, they all need to be placed in the sun to dry, then crushed and mixed into the potting soil. Grown with this as a base fertilizer, after 3 months flower lovers can see obvious results: first, the clivia leaves become oily and glossy, then it will quickly burst out many small side shoots, and when the flowering season comes it can also bloom more.
With sufficient base fertilizer supplying nutrients to the clivia, the clivia has the strength to grow and bloom, but its other care cannot be neglected either. Let's take a look together!
1. Watering
Clivia leaves are broad and soft in texture, requiring relatively high soil moisture content and relatively high air humidity. In the hot summer, clivia grows slowly and the roots absorb little water, but the amount of water evaporated from the leaf surface is very large.
Therefore, clivia cannot lack water, otherwise the fleshy roots will shrink, the leaf shape will become thin and weak, and it will be dull and lusterless. When watering, adhere to the principle of watering when half dry, and watering thoroughly when you do water.
Usually it is recommended to use a spray bottle, which cleans the leaves, increases humidity, and waters the plant all at once. During the flowering period, use the method of watering the roots, but the flower pot must never retain water.
2. Light
Clivia does not have strict light requirements. It likes semi-shade and fears direct sunlight. Because summer air temperature and soil temperature are relatively high, it is easy for the root system to become disordered, leading to unbalanced nutrient absorption and causing phenomena such as neck stretching and leaf bolting.
In addition, due to strong sunlight, transpiration is greatly increased. If watering is improper, the leaf color will become aged and scorched yellow, or even wilt.
