After the girly-style bedroom renovation was finished, my wife, who had zero expectations, hugged me and kissed me like crazy.
After working hard away from home for many years, we finally bought a house of our own. All these years, my wife has really endured a lot following me. My family itself had no money, so I couldn't give her such a good life right from the start, and sometimes when her friends were showing off the designer bags their husbands bought them, I couldn't afford to buy her one. I felt truly guilty back then, and because of that I worked even harder, and now I can finally say I've had "a modest career success." To thank my wife for never leaving me all these years, I was determined to design a beautiful girly-style bedroom for her. After all, when we first fell in love, she was such a gentle, dreamy young girl. Although after all these years she is no longer as young as she once was, in my heart she will always be that cutest little girl.
I told her my idea. At first my wife had no expectations at all, and she said outright, "We're already at that age, why make a girly-heart bedroom? It seems a bit unsuitable!" I insisted on doing it, and she kept showing no reaction, but when I actually finished designing this bedroom, she happily hugged me and kissed me like crazy, smiling so sweetly, and that look really made me incredibly happy too! Especially this bed tucked between 2 windows, which she thought was so romantic in movies when she was little, I made it specially for her.
One place my wife loves most is the dressing table I made for her. On top are flamingo ornaments I carefully picked out, because my wife has loved this since she was little. Although I don't think it looks good at all, as long as she likes it, of course I have to respect that. Seeing her so happy makes me happy too.
Another little detail is the rug I prepared for my wife. This pattern is quite lively, but it doesn't look exaggerated. My wife kept praising me, saying she never expected a straight man to have a girly heart too! But how could I possibly have a girly heart? I only have a heart that loves her!
