For people who grow flowers, the season they dislike most is probably summer, because once the weather gets hot, many flowers enter a dormant period, so extra care is needed in maintenance. One moment of carelessness and the flowers can easily be lost.

Besides that, what we worry about even more is that the flowers at home easily attract insects. Getting through summer is already difficult enough, and if you add the mischief of insects on top of that, the flowers' lives may really end early. Moreover, some little insects even fly around the home, and spraying pesticide feels unsafe, so today Huahua will teach everyone how to wipe out the little insects on the flowers!

Everyone must drink milk often, and it brings great benefits to our health, but for insects it is just the opposite. At this point we need to collect the leftover milk. And put it all into a spray bottle.

Then spray it onto the plant leaves, so the insects will be stuck by the milk and finally slowly corroded away. This can also reduce the harm that insecticide does to the plants. After a while, once the insects are dead, we can use clean water to rinse off the remaining insects on them, so the leaves can regain their original luster.

There is also another good thing that can be used to kill insects, and that is mosquito coils. Summer is here, and everyone surely keeps mosquito coils at home. You can light a mosquito coil around the flowerpot, but be careful not to let it burn the plant leaves, so the insects will be wiped out by the irritating smell of the mosquito coil.

And the mosquito coil ash left over from what we normally use also has great uses! Collect the ash from the burned mosquito coils, then spread it on the surface of the flowerpot. This can effectively kill the insects in the soil. After all, in this hot environment, it is the soil that most easily attracts little insects, but when using it, be careful to keep it away from the plant roots, otherwise they can easily be burned.

Although these methods are a bit safer to use, they are only suitable when there are relatively few insects. If there are too many on the leaves, it is recommended to use a dedicated insecticide, or cut off those parts to reduce the damage to the whole plant!
