Having seen plenty of flowers in the flower market, many flower lovers now always want to grow some rare flowers and plants. The flower I'm sharing with you today is not very common in the flower market, so naturally not many people grow it. In fact, this flower is really beautiful, with a blooming period of up to half a year, and it is blooming right now, and can keep going all the way to the end of the year.

This flower is the beautiful "frangipani" (Plumeria). I believe some flower lovers are already growing it. As a potted plant that is both good-looking and easy to care for, the truth is, for those flower lovers growing common plants like clivia, gardenia, and geranium, hurry up and grow a pot of frangipani!

The frangipani has very high ornamental value; if you don't believe it, look at the picture below:

The growth habits of frangipani:

Frangipani, also known as Burmese gardenia or egg-yolk flower, has flowers that are milky white on the outside with a bright yellow center, and it also has a fragrance. It is relatively simple to care for, liking high temperatures, humidity, and a sunny environment. So the best spot to grow frangipani is on the balcony, where it can rival balcony flowers like geraniums.

Daily care of frangipani:

When it comes to watering, frangipani prefers a moist environment, especially now, when frangipani is in its peak growing and blooming period, so pay more attention to checking whether the potting soil is dry or wet, and water according to the principle of "water when dry, stop when wet", or you can water twice a week.

As for light, as mentioned earlier, frangipani prefers a sunny environment, so letting it receive about 5 hours of scattered light each day helps extend the blooming period and better helps the green leaves carry out photosynthesis. If frangipani is kept in a dark spot for a long time, it is not good for its growth and blooming, and will also cause yellow leaves, withered leaves, and fallen flowers.

To ensure the normal growth of frangipani, fertilizing is of course indispensable. During its peak growing season, that is, from summer all the way to winter, remember to apply light fertilizer frequently. You can mix bone meal, superphosphate, and other phosphorus-rich fertilizers into the potting soil as a base fertilizer. Also use rice water as a liquid fertilizer supplement once a month, which helps frangipani bloom more brightly and keeps the floral scent longer.

That's all for the knowledge about frangipani. Such a beautiful flower, aren't you going to hurry and grow a pot?

Remember to like and share~
