Brother Herding Cattle Digs Up a Wild Grass Plant, Sells It for 350 Yuan and Gets Two Packs of Good Cigarettes as a Bonus

The brother dug up a wild grass plant while herding cattle, and on the way someone bought it for 350 yuan and even gave him two packs of good cigarettes.

The brother is hardworking, a genuine and honest rural man. Because he had not read many books, and on top of that he is getting on in years, going out to work in a factory was somewhat difficult, so he stayed home to farm.

And so it happened that the state increased its efforts to help and support rural areas. Especially for households like his that are registered poverty-stricken households, they receive even more priority care. So, in order to help them develop as quickly as possible, the government brought in a cattle-raising company from outside to partner with us here and lead these registered poverty-stricken households in development.

For households like the brother's, the company also gave them priority care, first contracting their land, then having them raise cattle, paying them a monthly wage and also giving them a year-end dividend. This also let the brother see hope. His task was to cut grass every day, and when the weather was good, to drive the cattle up the mountain to graze.

And so it happened that two days ago, he drove the cattle up the mountain to graze as usual. While herding the cattle, feeling bored, he wandered around in the mountain forest. He really did have some luck: in the forest he saw a grass plant in bloom. Out of curiosity, he dug it out, carefully wrapped this grass plant in moss, and put it in a relatively cool place. When he gathered the cattle in the afternoon, he also brought this wild grass plant home.

Unexpectedly, when he had walked halfway, he met the boss of their cattle farm and a group of 6 people taking a walk on the road, and the brother greeted them. At that moment, their boss noticed what he was holding and immediately called out to him, telling him to bring it over and let him see what it was.

When the boss took it and looked at it, he was overjoyed. He immediately recognized it as a wild orchid, and after carefully checking it, the boss offered 500 yuan to buy it. As a person like the brother who did not understand orchids and was honest and simple, since the other man was his boss, he felt embarrassed to ask for so much money and only asked for 350 yuan.

The kind-hearted boss felt a little uneasy about it, and immediately took two packs of good cigarettes out of his pocket and handed them to the brother. For the brother, who liked smoking, this was truly a big favor. Thank you for taking your precious time out of your busy schedule to patiently read this; reading takes you to an even higher level.
