Kalanchoe will bloom as long as it is topped and pruned properly, and makes it safely through the summer

Kalanchoe also needs regular pruning in daily care. Routine pruning helps improve the plant's airflow, promote growth, and reduce pests and diseases. Like many succulents, kalanchoe enters a dormant period during the high temperatures of summer. At this time, you need to prune the rather dense leaves of the kalanchoe a little. Of course, kalanchoe in summer must not be given too much water, so that it can make it safely through the summer.
For kalanchoe pruning, the main things are to cut off overly dense thin branches and diseased leaves, shape the plant into a form, and promote the growth of side branches so it looks even more beautiful after blooming. Never throw away the cut flowering stems. This flowering stem is the most vigorous part of the whole plant. You can process it further: cut off the flower buds on it and keep two or three leaves for cuttings, but it needs to be air-dried under natural conditions for two to three days. After the cut wound at the bottom has completely healed, insert it into the soil, and it becomes a new kalanchoe plant.
For a kalanchoe that has rooted successfully after cutting, when it grows to a height of about 5CM, you need to prune off the new buds at the top. After pruning, pay close attention to the plant's growth. If the top of the kalanchoe grows vigorously, then prune it a second time. In any case, it is just non-stop pruning.
