A 120 sq m "courtyard garden" in the bustling city

I wake naturally before dawn, sit quietly by the window, and watch in the faint light and thin mist

One by one their silhouettes become clear, swaying gently like spirits

When I look closely, they are clearly silent and still

In a daze, the first thread of dawn light spills down

I push the window open and the whole room is flooded with fragrance, filling me with such joy and anticipation

For one unknown day after another

Having a beautiful wall of roses has been my dream since childhood!

Not going to work, drinking tea in the small courtyard, so vivid and full of life

The roses that went crazy for more than half a month

Gradually fade out of the frame

I love how they look when they first open

From seeming to speak yet holding back, to bowing their heads

The busy work is all in the herbaceous flowers, and there are so many varieties. Usually I have to prune and trim frequently, move flower pots around, and whenever I have a spare moment I look up information to study the characteristics of all kinds of flowers. When I find a problem, I also have to think about how to solve it.

Maybe because I have just started working with flowers, all I can think about is how beautiful to make my garden. I want to plant every kind of flower, and I am also a perfectionist, with a compulsive streak. The position of the flower pots, the pairing of flower colors, the shape of the potted flowers, the yellow leaves and diseased leaves on the plants, the weeds in the pots, all make me fret over them every day, constantly pulling, trimming, clearing, and finally sweeping everything clean.
