Alternately water jasmine with 2 kinds of acidic water, one flower can bloom for 15 days, and it will be covered in buds within 1 month

Jasmine is a potted plant that flower lovers generally like. Its flowers are pure white and its scent is fresh; smelling it lifts your mood, and its plant form is simple and natural, making it an excellent potted flower that is deeply loved by people. Besides being grown in pots for ornamental viewing, jasmine is also the main raw material for scenting flower tea.
Many flowers enter a dormant state in the hot summer, but jasmine does not. Jasmine is not afraid of sun at all. When other flowers are dormant, it faces the sunlight and blooms brilliantly!
How could such a little flower not make people love it?
But many flower lovers also leave comments saying that the jasmine they grow never seems to want to bloom, and the leaves tend to turn yellow. Actually, solving this problem is not hard. Jasmine can only grow well in acidic soil, so we can give it some acidic water to drink. As long as the acidity of its potting soil is maintained, then getting it to bloom more is not a difficult thing.
The first kind of acidic water is a ferrous sulfate water
This kind of acidic water is very important for southern flowers like jasmine and gardenia. It is an important means of maintaining soil acidity and is indispensable. Jasmine likes slightly acidic soil; if the soil is on the alkaline side, the leaves will turn yellow. During the growing period, water it once every 10-15 days with 0.2% ferrous sulfate water to keep the potting soil acidic.
The second kind of acidic water is apple water
This is a homemade acidic fruit water that jasmine especially likes
When flower lovers usually eat apples, they can keep the apple peels, apple cores, and so on (if you are willing, you can also use a whole apple cut into pieces), soak them in water, and after soaking for 3-4 hours use it to water the flowers. This is an organic nutrient water rich in malic acid and phosphorus. Using it 2-3 times a month is enough. It can make your jasmine flowers last longer on a single bloom, and the flowers bloom larger and fuller.
These two kinds of acidic water that jasmine likes can be given to your jasmine alternately to drink. "Jasmine" can bloom for 15 days per flower, and in a month it will be covered in flowers if left alone
Of course, if you want jasmine to bloom more, we actually cannot neglect care either
1. Soil
The growing soil for potted jasmine should be rich in organic matter and have good water retention, permeability, and aeration. You can mix 4 parts leaf mold, 3 parts garden soil, 2 parts river sand, and 1 part cake fertilizer or livestock and poultry manure to make the growing soil, or mix 5 parts leaf mold, 4 parts sandy loam, and 1 part cake fertilizer evenly, and place bone meal and other base fertilizer at the bottom of the pot.
2. Watering
Watering potted jasmine should follow the principle of "see dry, see wet; do not water if not dry; when watering, water thoroughly." Understanding "when watering, water thoroughly": once you water jasmine, you must water it thoroughly, with water flowing out from the holes at the bottom of the pot. One point to note here: when watering, do not use a heavy flow; you need small amounts multiple times. Sometimes the potting soil cracks, and a heavy flow will immediately run out from the cracks. At this time, the inside of the potting soil is not yet soaked through, so you need to water in small amounts multiple times to water it thoroughly.
It is recommended to water more with rainwater and apple water
3. Light
Jasmine loves sun extremely, so jasmine should be given plenty of sunlight. Only this way can jasmine grow strong, not become leggy, and bloom more.
4. Pruning
Jasmine grows very fast and needs frequent pruning. Jasmine that is 3-6 years old blooms most vigorously; after that it ages year by year. Old branches generally do not bloom much, so timely heavy pruning and renewal is necessary for jasmine to bloom normally.
That is all for today's sharing
