There's a category of plants with incredibly strong vitality: pull off a few leaves or snip a few stems and plant them in soil, and they'll give you a brand-new potted green plant. No need to go out and spend money on them. Let's see which green plants are this easy to grow?

[Pennywort]

Pennywort (Hydrocotyle vulgaris) is famously easy to care for. Just look at its name - it has "grass" in it, so of course its vitality is tenacious. As an amphibious water-and-land plant, all it needs is enough water and sunlight. Pick a few strong rhizomes and leaves, soak them in a water-culture bottle, then transplant them into a flower pot, and before long it will reward you with a full, big pot of round, glossy green pennywort.

[Pothos]

Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) is also a very easy green plant to care for, and it can be grown either in water or in soil. The transplanting method is the same as for pennywort: separate a few stems and leaves with roots from the base of the plant, plant them in soil, water them, and that's it. That lush pot of pothos on our air conditioner grew from just a few stems.

[Aloe]

Aloe has beauty and skincare benefits, and it also helps relieve burns to some extent. My grandma's house has a huge number of aloe plants, and they all started from one pot. Cut a single aloe leaf from the base, bury it in soil, keep the soil moist, and once it sprouts, its growth will surprise you. Besides, it will also fill its own pot, and you can just move out the newly grown ones.

[Christmas cactus]

Christmas cactus (Schlumbergera) is an ornamental plant in the cactus family. Its form is very distinctive, hanging in a trailing shape, and it blooms in winter. Its flower language of "good fortune arrives and destiny turns" makes it very auspicious as a New Year flower. You can get a new pot just by cuttings: choose 3-7 healthy segments of Christmas cactus, insert them into the potting soil, and a well-growing plant can bloom the next year.

[Succulents]

Cute succulents are lovable, and in a suitable temperature environment they also easily fill their pot. They can likewise be propagated by cuttings: take a few healthy leaves, stick them in soil, sprinkle with water, and once they take root, that's it.

[Rose]

The miniature rose in our yard was cut from a neighbor's plant. In spring and autumn, choose branches that have already become woody or semi-woody, cut them off, soak them in carbendazim for fifteen minutes, then soak them in rooting powder for half an hour. The survival rate is still quite high. Unfortunately, ours isn't grown well and has pest and disease problems. If you want more beautiful rose varieties, you can also buy them at a shop.

[Peperomia]

Peperomia (Peperomia obtusifolia) is glossy green all year round and looks great on a desk. You can select strong branches, keep 2 growth nodes, insert them into clean, moist sandy soil, press the soil firm, place them in a shady spot, and after they take root, move them to a spot with bright, indirect light for care.

Besides these relatively common green plants, there are also jasmine, spider plant, snake plant, fiddle-leaf fig, ivy, and kalanchoe, which can all survive from just a few leaves or a few stems. If a friend has these green plants at home, why not take a few pieces and grow them yourself? Like me, it's fun and saves money~~
