Selecting branches: Choose healthy new branches and cut the branch below a node. Cutting process: Make a hole in the soil, place the young plant in, press gently, water thoroughly, and keep it in a cool place for care. Transplanting into pots: After rooting in about 2 months, move the young plant into a pot, use wire to make a frame to support the branches, and then carry out normal care.

1. Selecting branches

For cuttings, choose thick, healthy new branches, cut a branch about 10cm long starting below a node, remove the lower leaves, and keep 3-4 pairs of leaves. The cut should be slightly slanted, which helps rooting and water absorption.

2. Cutting process

First use chopsticks or another tool to make holes in the soil, place the young plant into the small holes, press gently with your fingertip, and firm the soil. After finishing, water the soil thoroughly and keep it in a cool place while waiting for rooting.

3. Transplanting into pots

Rooting takes about 2 months. Choose larger-particle perlite as the substrate, transplant the young plant into a suitable pot, and use wire, etc. to shape the branches, then carry out normal care.
