These days many households love growing pothos, spider plants and succulents. These three really are easy to keep alive, and they grow well without much care on ordinary days. Pothos is famously good at freshening the air and filtering out impurities, spider plants are very ornamental, and succulents are small and very delicate, which has won them the affection of many girls. But all of these are too ordinary. Today I'd like to introduce a flower that will make anyone who sees it praise your good taste!

This flower is called "fuchsia" (Fuchsia hybrida), which is also what we call the hanging bell flower. It originated in faraway Mexico, but it is also widely grown in China, in both the north and the south, especially in the north where more people grow it. The flowers are very ornamental.

There are many varieties of fuchsia, with many flower colours and different flower shapes. When it blooms, the flowers hang from the branches like little bells, and from a distance they look very beautiful. My favourite is "Red Shell White Heart": its petals are red and the flower centre is white, so when it is in full bloom a single flower shows two colours, and from a distance it looks like big red lanterns hanging and swaying on the branches, very small and exquisite!

It looks beautiful, so many people probably think it is hard to care for and not easy to keep alive. Actually that is not the case: a single section of stem can be root-cut and it will grow very well. It is a small shrub with strong vitality, not very fussy about soil, and its day-to-day care is not very complicated. Whether planted in the ground or in a flowerpot, it is very easy to keep alive. And as an indoor potted plant, as long as there is plenty of sunlight, its flowering period is also very long, blooming almost all year round. It is grown in great numbers in the north!

If you grow one of these flowers, not only will you have flowers to enjoy all year round, but the flowers are also so beautiful in appearance. When guests come to your home and see the flowers, they will surely say you have good taste! So stop growing spider plants and succulents. This kind of flower is just as easy to keep alive and also very beautiful!
