Because pothos is so tenacious that you can snap off a stem, toss it in water, and it will survive, people call it the "flower of life." Pothos has high ornamental value; kept at home, it is both beautiful and able to purify the air and absorb formaldehyde.

Especially in a newly renovated new home, you should keep a few pots no matter what, because keeping one pot of pothos in an 8-9 sq m room is equivalent to placing an air purifier, and pothos is also formaldehyde's strongest rival. For a home potted plant, pothos is definitely the first choice!

Pothos can be grown not only in soil. Many flower lovers find hydroponics simple and convenient, so they are willing to choose hydroponics, but recently some flower lovers have reported that their hydroponic pothos still has not rooted after 1-2 weeks. Is it because the temperature is too high and the survival rate of pothos is low?

Actually, it is not entirely because of temperature. We know that the primary factor for hydroponic plants is "water quality." No matter what plant you grow in water, the water quality must be good, and the method comes second. Today, the editor wants to introduce a method that can make pothos root quickly.

That is to add some "white sugar" to the water used for hydroponic pothos. White sugar can not only serve as a rooting agent to promote rapid rooting in pothos, but also make pothos grow better, with lush green leaves!

Method: Put the prepared white sugar into warm water. The purpose of using warm water is to help the white sugar dissolve better. Mix and shake well at a ratio of 1:9 (warm water). After the water cools, place the pothos to be hydroponically grown into the sugar water and soak it for about 1-3 hours.

After the pothos has soaked, place it into the hydroponic container, and in less than 1 week the pothos will have rooted!

The method is simple, and interested flower lovers can give it a try!
