Leaf propagation of 6 kinds of flowers and plants during the dog days of summer: do the method right and every single one will live

During the dog days of summer, the weather is too hot, but you can still propagate by cuttings. These six kinds of flowers and plants are propagated from leaves. If you do the method right, every single one you stick will live, which six kinds? Let's take a look together!
Crab claw cactus
Cut off crab claw cactus leaves with 2 to 3 nodes, let the cut ends dry thoroughly, and prepare peat soil plus perlite as the growing medium. Insert the prepared crab claw cactus leaves into the medium, but be careful to provide shade during this period. They will root in 20 days, and every single one you stick will live!
Note: the cut ends must be dried, and for the cutting medium, it is recommended to water it thoroughly the day before to keep it moist. After cutting, wait until the soil dries before watering again, and be sure to provide shade!
Kalanchoe
For kalanchoe, use leaf cuttings; it is convenient and simple. Cut off healthy kalanchoe leaves, keep the leaf stalks, cut the cut ends at a 45-degree angle, leave them for 24 hours, soak them in rooting solution, and for the medium you can choose garden soil plus river sand.
Insert the prepared leaves into the medium, keep the soil moist during this period, and place them in a bright spot. They can root in as fast as three months, and afterward new leaves will slowly grow.
Note: the leaves must be left for 24 hours, be careful to provide shade to prevent water from evaporating too quickly. Kalanchoe leaf cuttings root relatively slowly, so you need enough patience.
Jade plant
Propagating jade plant is very simple, with no seasonal requirements either. Just pick off healthy jade plant leaves and lay them flat on the soil surface; they will root in 20 days and grow new leaves in one month.
Note: summer temperatures are high and sunlight is strong, so be careful to provide shade to prevent water from evaporating too quickly!
Flapjacks
Flapjacks is a kind of succulent, and propagation is also quite simple. The method is similar to that for jade plant: cut off healthy leaves, and there is no need for overly meticulous care. Lay them flat on the soil nearby; they will root in 20 days and slowly grow leaves in 30 days.
Note: provide shade to reduce water evaporation. Because the leaves are separated from the mother plant, they have water supply, so water evaporation must be reduced!
Gloxinia
To propagate gloxinia by cuttings, you can likewise use leaf cuttings. Cut off healthy gloxinia leaves, keep the leaf stalks, and insert them into a mixture of garden soil and river sand; they will root in 20 days.
Note: the cut ends must be dried thoroughly, and be careful to provide shade while keeping the soil moist during this period.
Begonia
For begonia, the propagation method is very similar to that for gloxinia, and leaf cuttings can likewise be used. The medium can be peat soil plus perlite. If you do not have peat soil and perlite at home, garden soil plus river sand also works. They can root in 20-25 days.
Note: shade and cool them down, keep the soil moist, and dry the cut ends thoroughly!
