How to handle marguerite daisies after flowering? Detailed care instructions
1. Proper pruning
Marguerite daisies reach the end of their flowering period during the hot summer months, when the flowers become sparse, their numbers dwindle, and they gradually stop blooming. After flowering, promptly cut off the spent flowers; when the flower color clearly dulls, that marks the beginning of decline. We can cut the spent flowers off from the base of the flower stalk. As the flowers gradually fade, they can be cut off a little at a time.

2. Replenish fertilizer and water
Give them suitable fertilizer and water, keep the potting soil slightly moist, and at the same time place them in a cool, ventilated spot where they are not exposed to direct sunlight all day. Ideally they should get direct sunlight in the morning and evening, and direct sunlight must be avoided at midday. This kind of environment allows them to get through the summer smoothly. If fertilizer has generally been sufficient, they will also produce a second flowering period in autumn.
