How to water a money tree? Master the correct watering method
1. Watering principles
The root system of a money tree differs somewhat from that of other green plants; its roots are fairly slender. If watered too much, the roots will rot. When watering, follow the principle of keeping the potting soil slightly moist and never letting it dry out completely, and do not let it sit in waterlogged conditions for long periods.

The watering frequency should not follow a fixed schedule; determine it based on how the plant looks. In winter and spring, indoors in the north, with heating, the watering frequency should be relatively high. Once summer arrives, humidity is fairly high, the potting soil evaporates less, and watering should be extended appropriately.
2. How to tell whether you should water
One way is to tap the edge of the pot: dry potting soil gives a rather hollow sound, while a pot with plenty of water gives a denser sound. You can also look at the money tree's leaves; when it lacks water, the leaves droop slightly, and some wilt.
After watering, the leaves recover quickly. When watering it, note that the water should be clean, and its temperature should be close to the air temperature. In summer, water it in the morning or evening; in winter, when the temperature is relatively low, you can water at noon, so the water temperature is less likely to shock its roots.
If you use tap water, leave the water indoors for 1-2 days before watering, so that the chlorine in the water does not harm it.
