What are the cultivation methods for Aloe arborescens?
1. Soil
Growing Aloe arborescens requires a slightly neutral soil with good water permeability and a relatively high organic matter content.
2. Temperature
The optimal growing temperature for Aloe arborescens is 20-30°C. It is relatively sensitive to cold; when the winter temperature drops below 10°C, it stops growing, and when the temperature drops below 0°C, it can cause the plant to die. Therefore, when the weather is relatively cold, certain measures need to be taken to keep it warm.
3. Water
Aloe arborescens is drought-tolerant but not waterlogging-tolerant, so watering should normally follow the principle of rather dry than wet. During the growing season, it needs water to support its growth, so an appropriate amount of extra watering is needed to ensure it can grow normally and healthily.
