Snake Plant Leaves Falling Over? Find the Cause and the Fix Is Simple
1. Reduce watering
A snake plant does not need much water during growth, so there is no need to water it excessively; just wait until the potting soil is completely dry before watering. If water accumulates in the pot, prop up the bottom of the pot and place the plant in a ventilated, shady spot.
2. Indirect light
Direct sunlight burns the epidermal cells of a snake plant, preventing photosynthesis, respiration and other physiological processes from proceeding normally, which leads to insufficient nutrients in the plant and causes yellow or falling leaves. In this case, you can grow the plant under shade or place it somewhere with indirect light.
3. Suitable temperature
The suitable growing temperature for a snake plant is 16-30°C. If the temperature is too low, below 5°C, cold damage may occur. Place it in warm sunlight to raise the plant's temperature.
