Strict disease prevention and attention to scale and density in free-range chicken farming
In terms of disease prevention measures, strict prevention must be carried out according to the prescribed immunization schedule and methods. The chicken house must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before the chicks arrive and after they are sold, and the rearing site must be disinfected once a month. Disinfection with the chickens present should be carried out once a week. In addition, deworming is required once a month.
Regarding rearing scale and density, the number of chickens per batch should be based not only on the site but also with full consideration of one's own sales capacity. A rearing density of 100 to 150 birds per mu of orchard is more suitable, and for the brooding room, 30 to 40 birds per sq m is appropriate.
