Fumigation and Disinfection of Hatching Eggs
Fumigation concentration standard: theoretically, adding 40 ml of formalin and 20 g of potassium permanganate to a volume of 2.83 cubic meters constitutes one standard concentration (1X). In production, adding 14 ml of formalin and 7 g of potassium permanganate to a volume of 1 cubic meter constitutes one standard concentration (1X). Fumigation dosage and time: freshly laid hatching eggs require 3X concentration, fumigated for 20 minutes; eggs inside the incubator require 2X concentration, fumigated for 20 minutes; in short, the higher the concentration and the shorter the time, the better the effect. Fumigation conditions: high temperature and high humidity; generally, a temperature above 25 degrees and a humidity of 70% to 80% give the strongest sterilizing power and the most thorough disinfection.
