Sampling and weighing of broiler breeder pullets during the rearing period
Regular weighing and timely flock adjustment are required. Starting from the end of week 3, weigh once a week, with the weighing schedule fixed on the same day each week, in the afternoon of a non-feeding day; if weighing on a feeding day, weigh in the morning before feeding. Weighing method: during the growing period, sample and weigh 5% to 10% of the birds in each pen, weighing them one by one. Every pen must be sampled; one pen cannot be used to represent the whole flock.

Sampling should be done at two ends along the diagonal of the poultry house, using folding wire mesh to randomly enclose the birds, with the number of enclosed birds as close as possible to the planned sample number. All enclosed birds must be weighed without any selection.
