What are the pollution-free safety and quality standards for chestnut kernels
Safety and quality standards for pollution-free chestnut kernels
(1) Sensory requirements for pollution-free chestnut kernels
The fruit is ripe and plump, with the characteristics that this variety should have when ripe, free from impurities, with few moldy kernels, free from insect damage, free from air-drying and split-mouth fruit, etc.
(2) Safety and quality indicators for pollution-free chestnuts
The safety and quality indicators for pollution-free chestnuts are shown in Table 1-10 (Figure 1).
(3) Inspection rules
1. Batch grouping rules
Products from the same production unit, of the same variety, of the same grade, and of the same packaging (or harvesting) date shall be taken as one inspection batch.
2. Sampling method
The sampling amount shall be determined according to the quantity of the lot to be inspected. Within the same inspection batch, the random sampling method shall be used, and 2 kg to 6 kg of samples shall be taken for inspection.
3. Judgment rules
If the results of all test items meet the safety indicator requirements in Table 1-10 (Figure 1) of this standard, the batch of products shall be judged as qualified products; if the measured results do not meet the safety and hygiene indicator requirements in Table 1-10 (Figure 1) of this part, resampling and re-inspection shall be carried out for the unqualified items, and if there is still one unqualified item in the re-inspection, the batch of products shall be judged as unqualified. Sensory requirements shall not be used as judgment requirements.
(4) Packaging, marks, labels, storage and transportation
The packaging materials used shall meet the requirements of food hygiene standards; the labels of packaged products shall indicate the product name, place of origin, picking date (or packaging date), shelf life, and production unit (or distribution unit); products that have obtained a qualification certificate upon approval may have a pollution-free product mark affixed to the packaging; for the transportation and storage of products, clean, hygienic and pollution-free transport tools and sites shall be selected, and mixing storage and mixed transportation with other toxic and harmful substances are strictly prohibited.
