Is pig farming all about technique?
Is the pig farming industry simple? Does it bring in good income? I chatted with a few friends about this topic. They told me the pig farming industry has high risks and low income.
But as far as I know, back when I was in school and at home, some neighbors raised their pigs plump and big, while other pigs always got sick and would die two today, one tomorrow. In the end, not only did they not make back their costs, they lost terribly! What exactly is killing our little piggies before their time?
From what I understand, the diseases pigs are most susceptible to are these few: swine fever, blue ear disease, circovirus, cracked hooves, coughing, asthma, and parvovirus (this is what I read in books). But how do you actually deal with these viruses in practice? Or rather, what techniques are there in pig farming to keep these little piggies safe from harm?
With these questions in mind, I still need to learn more, so that the road of pig farming ahead won't be so hard to walk! Friends, if you have any insights, please share them! Waiting!

If you put it that way, then a large portion of pig farms right now aren't really farming pigs

Yes you can, mainly rely on immunity-boosting medication, a combination of Chinese and Western medicine plus electrolyte multivitamins and glucose, and absolutely do not give injections, otherwise they'll die very fast!
