Determination methods for the trace elements iron, zinc, and manganese
Determination of iron, zinc, and manganese
Has anyone here determined iron, copper, zinc, and manganese? Come and let's exchange and learn together! I have a few questions and would appreciate your advice!
1 Iron: How is the endpoint determined? The national standard says purple, but when I titrate, the purple only shows briefly, and after a slight swirl it's gone. When I titrate further it's no longer purple; it seems darker than green, yet it doesn't look like green, and I can't say what color it is.
2 Manganese: The details are hard to control. I can't manage the 220-240 degrees stated in the national standard, and every time the result comes out low.
3 Zinc: What points need attention? My results are also low, and I don't know why.
