What are the types of diarrhea in pigs? Distinguish the common types in one article
About the several kinds of diarrhea in pigs
Diarrhea in pigs is very common. May I ask, what causes can lead to diarrhea in pigs? I only know of E. coli, moldy feed, chilling, and pseudorabies. I am really not clear on how viral diarrhea is caused, and I don't know how epidemic diarrhea is caused either. I hope friends can add to this, thank you!

Let's take a look, I also really want to learn about the questions you raised. What you are talking about is very common now, and many people cannot distinguish it either. Let's see what the experts say

That is too general. The age, body weight, mental state, feed intake, body temperature, infectivity and incidence rate, mortality and culling rate, season, etc. of the affected pig - you did not provide a single one of these. How is anyone supposed to diagnose your beloved pig?
There are many kinds of diseases that can cause diarrhea in pigs:
(1) Viral: swine fever, transmissible gastroenteritis, epidemic diarrhea, rotavirus, porcine pseudorabies virus, reproductive and respiratory syndrome, bovine diarrhea virus disease, PMWS.
(2) Bacterial: Clostridium welchii enteritis, E. coli, swine dysentery bacillus, Salmonella, Lawsonia intracellularis, intestinal anthrax (rare).
(3) Parasitic: coccidia, whipworm, Balantidium coli, roundworm.
(4) Non-infectious factors: humidity, temperature, dietary antigens and allergens, hypoglycemia (starvation diarrhea),
(5) Non-pathogenic white diarrhea (iron deficiency diarrhea, white diarrhea due to insufficient enzymes and gastric acid).,

What I mean is that I hope the experts can analyze the several situations of pig diarrhea. As long as it is any kind of diarrhea situation, it counts! Regardless of the pig's size, mental state, feed intake, body temperature, infectivity and incidence rate, mortality and culling rate, season, etc.

When the effect of injecting antibiotics is not obvious, pay attention to factors such as humidity, temperature, dietary antigens and allergens, and hypoglycemia (starvation diarrhea). Generally, lowering the humidity will bring improvement,

The bench explained it in great detail. To add: Haemophilus parasuis disease

Very well said, it would be even better if it were a bit more specific. Thank you everyone
