What should you do if pigs contract Haemophilus? Detailed treatment options
Kneeling in the snow begging for help: pigs have contracted Haemophilus. Treatment plan!!!
As titled.
This plague is occurring on a large scale in our area.
Seeking an effective and rapid treatment plan.
--------------------------------------
The condition needs to be described in detail
--------------------------------------
Use florfenicol or ceftiofur for injection, provided the drugs chosen are brand-name drugs, preferably imported ones; do not use drugs from small manufacturers
--------------------------------------
Haemophilus is an indicator disease of PRRS and occurs mainly during the post-weaning nursery stage.
It is mostly related to the sow and the environment. Haemophilus, like Streptococcus, is a resident bacterium in the body.
It is most abundant mainly in the nasal mucosa. Secondary infection caused by predisposing factors is more common.
Mainly use tiamulin mixed into feed for sows before and after farrowing; during the nursery stage use tiamulin plus florfenicol; for treatment you can use florfenicol, cephalosporin, lincomycin, sulfonamides, etc.
--------------------------------------
If it really is Haemophilus parasuis, cephalosporin is the first choice, followed by sulfadimidine, but for pigs that have already developed symptoms the treatment effect is at best average; it is best to add amoxicillin to the feed
--------------------------------------
Inject a large dose of true cephalosporin for 3 days, and at the same time inject Glaesserella parasuis vaccine
--------------------------------------

Sulfadimidine + amoxicillin + a little liver-protecting medication!
Finally inject cephalosporin!

There are not many left in Henan now.
