Large-scale outbreak in the pig herd: what to do when 60 kg pigs keep having recurring fever and refuse to eat
Urgent help needed!!! 60 kg pigs with recurring fever, refusing to eat feed, and a large-scale outbreak!
60 kg pigs with fever, poor appetite for feed, and a large-scale outbreak (in 1 pen with 8 pigs, almost 7 or all of them have fever), poor mental state, and the same situation in other pens as well.
Fever-reducing drugs have already been given for several days with no effect at all; it seems unstoppable, they improve that day and then get sick again on the first day.
Please everyone help solve this! Urgent! What is the cause, and what medication should be used for treatment!!!

When the cause is unknown, treat comprehensively.
If the body temperature is below 41°C, do not rush to reduce the fever; just use anti-inflammatory and antiviral treatment.
Astragalus polysaccharide + florfenicol + oxytetracycline, one injection per day, with all drugs injected separately.
--------------------------------------
Your pigs very likely have this; it is recommended that you use antibiotic drugs and sulfonamide drugs for treatment, such as: penicillin, streptomycin, cephalosporins, sulfadiazine, etc.

The original poster can try it and see which one dies faster!
