At present, many large-scale rabbit farms are encountering serious fungal problems. The main triggers for the above diseases are closely related to improper feeding management, poor breeding environment, and unbalanced nutritional levels. How to improve the high concentration of ammonia and other odors, high humidity, and poor ventilation is the top priority -- a damp rabbit farm can bring many problems, such as parasites, fungi and other pathogenic microorganisms that all like to reproduce and survive in humid environments, easily causing skin diseases and parasitic diseases in the rabbit herd; odors such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide can damage the respiratory mucosa, causing low resistance in the rabbit herd and leading to disease outbreaks, especially respiratory diseases, and at the same time ammonia is one of the important factors affecting feed conversion. How to reduce the concentration of ammonia and other odors and the humidity of the rabbit house is the top priority for rabbit farms. Providing a comfortable environment for the rabbit herd and a pleasant working environment for people, while also providing a healthy and safe living space for the rabbit herd, is both a need for animal welfare and a need to improve animal production performance and enhance product quality. I can offer a product you might want to try: a new type of environment improver -- Shuang Leshen. At present, many large-scale rabbit farms are using this product, and the effect is quite good. It mainly solves dampness, odors and so on in rabbit farms. Its strong adsorption can sterilize and disinfect, achieving an ideal breeding environment.
Use special spraying equipment to spray the whole house: the first spraying dosage is 30g/m2, spray twice in a row, and afterwards spray 20-30 g/m2 every week. The dosage can be adjusted according to actual conditions.
When spraying, the spraying personnel should wear masks as much as possible to avoid thirst. On the day after spraying, the animals' water intake will increase appropriately. During spraying, turn off fans or blowers for 20 minutes. Do not let the equipment run idle.

Rex rabbits infected with fungi will harm their health, directly affect the growth and quality of their fur, and seriously affect the economic benefits of rex rabbit farming. The prevention and control measures for this disease are introduced below for farmers' reference.
The pathogens of rex rabbit fungal disease are most commonly Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton gypseum and Microsporum gypseum, and it is mainly transmitted through contact. Young rabbits are more susceptible than adult rabbits. Unbalanced nutrition in rex rabbit feed, poor rabbit house environment, and high temperature and high humidity are conducive to the spread of this disease.
Clinical symptoms: Sick rabbits generally have normal spirit, appetite and body temperature. Lesions generally start from the head or near the head of the rex rabbit. The lesion sites itch, showing round or irregular hair loss and skin damage, and spread outward, spreading to the paws and other parts, forming a scab-like appearance, with inflammatory reactions in the tissue under the scabs. If secondary bacterial infection occurs, it often causes hair follicle abscesses.
Preventive measures. (1) The rabbit house must be thoroughly cleaned and strictly disinfected before use. The floor and walls should be sprayed and brushed with 3-5% sodium hydroxide or fresh lime water, and rabbit cages, kindling boxes and other utensils should be sprayed with 5% Lysol or fumigated with formalin. (2) Strengthen feeding management, pay attention to ventilation, and keep the rabbit body clean and hygienic. (3) Divide into groups reasonably to prevent excessive rabbit density. Raise young rabbits and female rabbits separately, and nurse at fixed times. Disinfect the female rabbit's abdomen and udder before nursing, and after nursing return the young rabbits to clean rabbit cages for rearing. (4) Prevent rodents from approaching the rabbit house. (5) Keep rabbit cages, rabbit houses and utensils clean and hygienic, and disinfect regularly with 10% bleaching powder solution.
Treatment plan. Isolate sick rabbits in time, cut off the hair at the affected parts of sick rabbits, wash with soapy water, remove the scabs, and then treat with the following drugs: (1) Oral clotrimazole, 0.5-0.8 grams per rabbit each time, twice a day for sick rabbits until symptoms disappear; once a day for the remaining rabbits, for 8 consecutive days. (2) Apply clotrimazole tincture or clotrimazole ointment to the affected parts, 4-5 times a day, until recovery. (3) Apply 10% iodine tincture or 5-10% copper sulfate solution to the affected parts until recovery. (4) Apply waste machine oil or soap, or apply a honey-vinegar liniment (9 parts honey, 1 part vinegar), until recovery.
--------------------------------------
If it is truly a relatively serious group outbreak of Microsporum fungal skin disease, there is no need for treatment. If you choose treatment, then prepare to invest more funds into it -- eternal investment, falling into a quagmire that can never be cured.
Honest advice is hard to hear!

80% of weaned young rabbits have been infected with fungi, it breaks my heart!
