Packaging Material Acceptance Standards
1 Subject Content
This standard specifies the technical requirements, acceptance methods and determination rules for plastic woven bags used for feed.
2 Scope of Application
Applicable to the acceptance of plastic woven bags by all branches and subsidiaries.
3 Responsibilities
3.1 The receiving group is responsible for sampling inspection and determination in accordance with this standard.
3.2 The woven bag warehouse keeper is responsible for the acceptance of the quantity of woven bags.
4 Inspection Items, Technical Requirements and Inspection Methods
4.1 Specifications and weight of woven bags
4.1.1 Specifications and bag weight of commonly used woven bags:
Name Specification (mm) With inner liner (g/bag) Without inner liner (g/bag)
50kg bag 650×1050 121 101
40kg bag 600×1000 110 90
20kg bag 500×800 74 60
10kg bag 400×600 47 37
5kg bag 350×440 33 27
Note: All woven bags can also be made into different specifications and weights according to the needs of each branch and subsidiary.
4.1.2 Specifications and bag weight of laminated woven bags:
Name Specification (mm) Double-sided lamination (g/bag) Single-sided lamination (g/bag)
With inner liner Without inner liner With inner liner Without inner liner
50kg bag 650×1050 143 123 139 119
40kg bag 600×1000 126 109 122 105
20kg bag 500×800 87 73 84 70
10kg bag 400×600 55 45 48 38
5kg bag 350×470 40 34 39 33
4.1.3 Permissible deviations and inspection methods for woven bags:
Item Permissible deviation Inspection method
Length (mm) +15, -10 Lay the bag flat and measure at three places with a ruler accurate to 1mm, at the middle and at 100mm from the edge, with the ruler parallel to the bag edge.
Width (mm) +15, -10
Bag weight
(g/bag) Bags for 10kg or more -3 See the provisions of 4.1.4
Bags for 10kg and below -2
4.1.4 Bag weight inspection method. Weigh in units of 100 bags, then calculate the average value. The sampling standard is:
Batch number of packages 1-5 packages 6-10 packages 11-20 packages More than 20 packages
Number of packages drawn 1 package 2 packages 3 packages 5 packages
4.2 Quality
4.2.1 Appearance quality of commonly used woven bags
Item Requirements
Bag surface ① Smooth, flat, with no obvious fuzz; ② Evenly woven, with no obvious uneven density; ③ Broken filaments: no more than 3 places per bag are allowed; ④ At the same place, the sum of broken warp and weft filaments is less than 3.
Stitching ① No skipped stitches, broken threads, or unstitched turning points are allowed; ② The handles of handbags are firmly sewn with no falling off.
Cleanliness ① No more than 3 places of obvious oil stains below 100 mm2; ② No obvious oil stains above 100mm2 are allowed.
Cut edge No frayed edges are allowed.
Printing ① The layout is arranged neatly and appropriately; ② The layout content is correct, and the text and patterns are clear;
③ The printing color is bright and full; ④ Double-sided reverse printing is not allowed.
Color shade Same hue as the sample, and within the range of shade deviation.
4.2.2 Quality of laminated woven bags
Item Requirements
Wrinkles No more than 3 folds of 3mm width and 100mm length.
Stitching ① No skipped stitches, broken threads, or unstitched turning points are allowed; ② The handles of handbags are firmly sewn with no falling off.
Lamination No insufficient lamination width, obvious peeling, air holes and hard lumps, or local missed lamination are allowed.
Cleanliness ① No more than 2 places of obvious oil stains below 100 mm2; ② No obvious oil stains above 100mm2 are allowed.
Color registration accuracy Color registration deviation ≤0.3mm.
Inner liner quality For woven bags with inner liners, the inner liner provided is uniform in thickness and tough, and its length and width dimensions are slightly larger than those of the outer bag.
4.2.3 Appearance inspection method: visual inspection under natural light.
4.3 Woven bag strength
The strength of woven bags shall be inspected in accordance with the drop test method specified in GB/T4857.5. Requirements: the bag does not rupture, the packaging contents do not leak, and the handles of handbags do not fall off.
4.3.1 The test environment is normal temperature and normal humidity.
4.3.2 The test site is a flat cement floor.
4.3.3 The filling coefficient is 0.80-0.85.
4.3.4 Test quality and material selection: According to the indicated contents weight on the bag, fill with feed of equal weight or material of comparable density.
4.3.5 Test sequence
First bag: longitudinal - flat - side
Second bag: flat - side - longitudinal
Third bag: side - longitudinal - flat
4.3.6 Place the sample at a height of 1.2m and let it fall freely. Carry out three drop tests in the sequence specified in 4.3.5, and check whether there is bag rupture and leakage of packaging contents.

--------------------------------------
Our requirements are stricter than this! Hehe!
We also have a 105*60 specification for our 40kg ones!
--------------------------------------
Industry standards are inconsistent, and implementation is difficult.
--------------------------------------
It should be implemented according to this, which puts pressure on suppliers.
--------------------------------------
Without pressure, will suppliers make good packaging bags for you?
--------------------------------------
I feel that ordinary woven bag factories find it very difficult to fully meet the requirements. Just look at these feed woven bags on the market and you will know that the workmanship is not that good.
--------------------------------------
Posting this in the regulations and standards section is also fine.
--------------------------------------
Not bad.

Thank you to the original poster for sharing, I learned from it.

I learned from it, thank you to the original poster!!
--------------------------------------
s Practice is the only criterion for testing truth. As long as it is attractive, has good drop resistance, and can hold the material, that is enough.
--------------------------------------
A very good standard, useful! Thank you to the original poster.
