These pictures are all of dead rabbits from the same rabbit farm. Onset time: January to February 2008, cold weather, mass deaths, breeding rabbits got sick and died first, then the young rabbits. The farm had not been vaccinated with any vaccine. Initial diagnosis: rabbit hemorrhagic disease.

From your necropsy data, it can initially be determined that there is E. coli infection. The large intestine is severely congested, diarrhea, black feces, and the kidneys show some edema, which should be accompanied by Salmonella infection. Only bacterial culture can confirm. Initial preventive medication: ciprofloxacin or enrofloxacin treatment. Also pay attention to keeping warm and do a good job of environmental disinfection

From this farm's photos, I feel it looks like a mixed infection of rabbit hemorrhagic disease and Pasteurella multocida. If anything is wrong, please everyone correct me.

Don't think of a simple disease as too complex, it should just be caused by rabbit hemorrhagic disease vaccination failure!

I think if he had done the rabbit hemorrhagic disease vaccination properly, it should have been stable.
