What are the benefits of adding probiotics to premix?
Using probiotics in premix
There are so many antibiotics in premix, and some also contain high levels of zinc and copper. Can probiotics coexist with these drugs?
--------------------------------------
Most cannot. If you are formulating a feed, remove the antibiotics and high copper.
--------------------------------------
What is certain is that as long as the premix is not mixed with water (moisture below 13%), probiotics can survive in premix containing drugs. But whether the probiotics will be killed by the antibiotics, copper, and zinc in the premix after the premix is mixed into a complete feed and eaten by the animal and enters the intestinal tract depends on the characteristics of the bacterial strains used in the probiotics. Only those strains that have undergone special breeding will not be killed by the above drugs.
--------------------------------------
The use of probiotics is conditional. Among the 4 major categories of probiotics approved for use by the Ministry of Agriculture: lactic acid bacteria, Bacillus species, yeasts, and photosynthetic bacteria, Bacillus species have the highest stress resistance. Bacillus products fermented from good Bacillus strains can tolerate most antibiotics and high-dose environments. The others are relatively poorer.
--------------------------------------
If it is Bacillus, there should be no problem.
--------------------------------------
Bacillus has strong stress resistance, while the others are relatively poorer.
