I would like to ask Teacher Xie about the effects of betaine products in laying hens, as well as some of the characteristics of adulteration in this product and the harm it brings. How can betaine products be used well?

What are the current types of betaine products, and what are the usage habits and purposes of the vast majority of farmers?
--------------------------------------
We only use it in aquatic feed, and do not use it elsewhere
--------------------------------------
In laying hen diets, with a total methionine content of 0.32 or above, adding 200-400 g of 98% betaine hydrochloride gives stable results.
--------------------------------------
Between compound betaine and betaine hydrochloride, which is the most practical?

I agree with this view. There is no problem with adding betaine to laying hen diets.

According to what Teacher Xie said, adding 0.3% betaine to laying hen diets and removing choline gives good results. The occurrence of fatty liver is greatly reduced (I dare not say there is none, only that I have not seen it so far), and the feed-to-egg ratio has decreased somewhat (because there is no exact data and it is entirely based on daily observation, I dare not guarantee this point)

Previously I did not dare remove choline for fear of problems, but now I feel a bit more reassured; it is best to use compound betaine, as the hydrochloride salt really does affect feces

Thank you, I have learned from this

'It is best to use compound betaine, as the hydrochloride salt really does affect feces'??
I had not noticed this point, no wonder some people have recently mentioned feces problems.

Is the price of betaine very low?

Betaine mainly provides methyl groups, right?

In laying hen diets, with a total methionine content of 0.32 or above, may I ask whether there is a problem with this sentence? Please be rigorous in attitude when doing research!
