Pothos develops yellow leaves easily when placed in these 3 spots, and many people overlook it

Pothos, this potted plant is really so easy to grow, it survives as soon as it touches water. Anyone who has grown pothos knows this potted plant needs hardly any care at all. It's true you can keep pothos alive, but that doesn't mean you can grow it well. Do its leaves ever turn yellow? Place pothos in these 3 spots and it easily gets "yellow leaves", and many people still don't know it, so stop overlooking it!
1. Next to air conditioning vents and radiators
When pothos is grown indoors, many people overlook the position of the air conditioning vent. In summer the cold air from the AC and in winter the warm air both harm pothos. In winter it can neither be placed in the AC draft, nor close to a radiator, nor on a floor with underfloor heating.
If pothos is blown by the air conditioner, the leaf tips tend to dry out; if placed on underfloor heating, the root system will be damaged.
2. Places with direct sunlight
My mom used to keep flowers, except in winter, outside the balcony window on the security grille in all other seasons, and that way she even killed several pots of pothos. Only later did we learn that pothos cannot be kept in direct sunlight all the time, especially in summer. Grown this way, pothos leaves get sunburned and turn yellow, so pothos must not be placed in direct sunlight.
3. Dark places
Pothos does not like direct light, but it also cannot be kept in a dark place for a long time, as this will also make pothos leaves turn yellow and look dull and lusterless.
When growing pothos indoors, place it in the spot with the best indoor light, or move it to a sealed balcony to sunbathe at noon. In spring and summer, you can place pothos near a window sill facing east or north; in winter, place it at a south-facing window, but avoid direct sunlight. This is because too strong sunlight will scorch pothos leaves, while too little light will make the beautiful markings on the leaves disappear. Usually, with four hours of scattered light, pothos can grow very well.
