Many people buy some flowers and plants to grow and place at home to make their home look more beautiful, but in the process of growing flowers, it is inevitable to run into the problem of plants attracting bugs. So how do you deal with these bugs? Using insecticide is not very eco-friendly. If you do not use insecticide, what special little tricks are there? You can add "it" to the pot, and potted plants will never fear little bugs again!

1. Garlic

Mash some garlic into garlic paste, put it in a container, add some clean water, let it sit for a few days, then dilute it with water and water the plants with it. This can effectively prevent pest infestation. You can also spray it on the plants, which can control flower aphids, scale insects and so on, and can also treat powdery mildew and black spot on Chinese roses (Rosa chinensis), because many pests dislike the strong smell of garlic.

2. Coarse sand

Use the kind of coarse sand that is the size of soybean grains, then rinse it with clean water 2-3 times until the water from rinsing is no longer cloudy. After washing, put it in the sun to dry, then spread it on the surface of the pot. Do not spread it too thick, 0.3-0.5cm is enough. It not only allows water and air to pass through, but also blocks the moist soil, preventing mosquitoes and bugs from laying eggs in the soil and completely avoiding mosquito and bug trouble.

3. Mosquito coil ash

Mosquito coil ash can repel insects, disinfect, strengthen roots and promote flowering. Many people throw away the mosquito coil ash after using a mosquito coil, which is a huge waste for flower growers, because this mosquito coil ash is a treasure. Spread it on the surface of the potting soil, and it not only does not attract bugs, but also supplements potassium fertilizer, sterilizes and disinfects, protects flower roots, and keeps plants strong and flowers bright. Sprinkle it evenly, and note that the thickness of the mosquito coil ash must not exceed 0.5cm.
