Plant 2 kinds of vegetables on the balcony, lush and green, cool and tasty, instantly turning it into a mini vegetable garden

Indoors you can not only grow flowers, but also grow vegetables. These two vegetables are cool and tasty, and placed on the balcony they form a lush green patch, instantly turning it into a mini vegetable garden. Neighbors are envious when they see it.
Potted eggplant
You can directly buy eggplant seedlings and simply choose a variety according to your own preference. For the soil, you can use garden soil plus leaf mold with added decomposed chicken manure. This makes the soil more fertile and improves drainage and aeration, which is better for the growth of eggplant seedlings.
Plant the seedlings in the prepared soil and place them in a cool spot with indirect light to acclimate. They will survive in about seven days, after which move them to a spot with plenty of sunlight, because if you want them to bear plenty of fruit, they cannot do without light.
To prevent lodging, insert a bamboo pole or a wooden stick into the soil and tie the seedling to the stick to keep it from falling over. During care, also pay attention to pinching off shoots. In particular, old leaves and yellow leaves should be cut off in time, keeping just one main stem and one to two branches; the rest should be cut off. This can increase fruit set.
After flowering and fruiting, pay attention to thinning the fruit. If growth is too dense, the fruits produced will be very small, and the taste will not be especially sweet either; it will be bitter!
When the fruit is setting, pay attention to topdressing. You can apply decomposed chicken manure to increase fertility and supplement nutrients, which can make the fruit large and delicious.
Potted green pepper
For potted green peppers, it is recommended to buy seedlings directly. Not only is the survival rate high, but it also noticeably shortens the growing time. For the soil, you can also use leaf mold plus garden soil plus decomposed chicken manure.
Plant the seedlings in the soil and keep them in a cool place for care. They will survive in about 5 to 7 days, but during this period keep the soil moist. After they survive, place them in a spot with plenty of sunlight.
In summer the temperature is relatively high and the sunlight is relatively intense. Although it likes light, you still need to pay attention to shading, otherwise the leaves can easily wilt and dry up!
For potted green peppers, pruning is also needed. You can keep one main stem and one to two side branches, and you should also strengthen ventilation. With good ventilation, it is less likely to grow small flying insects.
Likewise, after fruit set, strengthen nutrients, otherwise the fruit quality will not be very good either. Topdressing with decomposed chicken manure, or organic rapeseed fertilizer or organic soybean cake fertilizer, is all fine. Applying topdressing 2 to 3 times in a row can increase fruit set and make the fruit even larger.
