Opening a discussion to clarify understanding: misunderstandings about the hierarchical classification of feed available energy
Opening a discussion to clarify understanding.

In animal energy nutrition, the hierarchical classification of feed energy availability is usually described in textbooks and journals using inherited conventions. The unabsorbed digestive tract gas energy (methane energy) is assigned to the digestible energy level; the unabsorbed and unutilized rumen fermentation heat is assigned to the metabolizable energy level. This is clearly wrong!

The reason: it is simply treating the scheme of laboratory research analytical work as the attribution of feed energy levels within the animal body. In addition, the energy used for maintenance does not all come from net energy, especially the maintenance heat source in cold environments, to which fermentation heat and heat increment will both contribute. This also happens to provide a good explanation for the high net maintenance efficiency!

Everyone is welcome to offer their own views after reading.

Support "the energy used for maintenance does not all come from net energy"!

Regarding a theory like this, for a great master like Mr. Han, we can only learn; just understanding the current direction of feed energy is enough for us, we ask for nothing more

The diagram is very clear, not bad

After the old gentleman put it this way, I realized that this is really the case; some fundamental issues actually have not truly been understood for a long time. Thank you, sir!

Having studied animal husbandry for so many years, today I finally know that not everything in textbooks is necessarily the truth! There are still many things that need to be carefully examined and considered!
--------------------------------------
Haha, there is a bit of a difference between learning with your heart and learning with your eyes---often

Hehe, download it and take a look first!

Actually, what is written in textbooks is not necessarily completely correct either
Those who talk about science and technology popularization on China Central Television do not necessarily understand the technology either
The author has also found several places
For example, the brooding temperature for laying hens
The author once brooded more than 60,000 chicks in one batch
The comparison results proved that the low-temperature variable-temperature method
The chick survival rate and subsequent egg production were both far higher than with the high-temperature method
It is not just a matter of saving fuel!

It is just that there are many things people seem unwilling to publish
I am just lazy,
Did not write it into an article for public publication
It is not that I was unwilling to publish!
This can count as publishing it here!

The truth is often held in the hands of a few

Today's gain is great, and I also realize that knowledge should be learned and applied flexibly, and things should be viewed dialectically!
