I've run into a problem with planting, please give me some guidance, teachers
Teachers, please give me some guidance
I have a dairy cow that calved 2 months ago. One day she suddenly stopped eating; it may have been overeating. I starved her for two feedings and then reduced the concentrate, but now she can't eat her fill. Giving her stomach-tonic medicine has not had an obvious effect, and her muzzle is dry. Rumination is normal. Adding concentrate has not brought any improvement either. She has no fever, and milk yield has dropped. So frustrating..... Please give me some guidance, teachers.

1. Foregut atony caused by rumen impaction;
2. Test the ketone body level;
3. Check whether there is abomasal displacement.

Once a dairy cow's milk yield drops due to external stress, it is very hard for it to rise again. Right now, prioritize solving the cow's feed intake problem. You could try feeding the cow some cooking oil?
