Some say: life is a harsh winter, and we need spring as anesthesia. Whenever I stroll on this terrace ablaze with flowers, my heart seems to dwell in nature, letting me temporarily forget the sorrows of the world, my heart filled with warmth and quiet.

There is a kind of sadness, very warm, called bright and melancholy, sitting on that wooden chair reading a book and zoning out

I think not having to go to work and just tending and admiring these flowers every day would be enough to keep me busy!

A lazy summer afternoon

This city must be one of the cities with the highest air conditioner penetration rate.

Yet for many people, heat merely means a headline in the weather forecast and the high electricity bills of these two months.

What is hard is still the people who have no choice but to rush about under the scorching sun, and those poor heat-intolerant flowers and plants outdoors.

On an afternoon like this, after last night's heavy rain drove away the high temperatures, even summer in this city seems to give people the illusion of autumn.

So I feel fortunate that those green spirits can finally catch their breath, performing a symphony of red and white
