As someone who loves blue-purple and bold, heavy colors, when pink-toned things appear on my own balcony, I feel extremely disdainful inside and want to reject them
But I love the Qiangdiao flower shape too much~ graceful, light, and although it is a flower ball, it does not feel heavy
I also wanted to see the autumn color (retro color), so I did not cut the flowers off
Who knew its flowering period would be so, so long ah ah ah ah... it has been almost a month, why is it still pink! When exactly will it turn green!!
Next year I definitely have to feed it tons of aluminum sulfate and white vinegar, and grow you into a blue chubby one
Look at this delicate little serrated edge~~ truly a beautiful little flower
This year I held firm, no cutting, just no cutting
After blooming for almost two months, it finally turned retro-colored
For this, I even missed the best time for cuttings
The trait that hydrangeas change color can be said to be very fascinating~
It is very big, the head is even bigger than the pot it is planted in. The variety is Qiangdiao
Other flower friends' photos of the same variety in the original post are as follows:

I feel the flowers in the middle do not have serrated edges, only the ones at the edges do
After mine bloomed, it has not been moved. The light is weak, behind the lilies, with only dappled morning light
There are still flower buds that have not grown up

It seems it cannot take too much rain. My other hydrangeas were all fine, but only Qiangdiao later had bud drop and black rot

My Qiangdiao also bloomed pink this year. Since it would not turn retro, I cut it. Last year the purple retro look felt okay. Also, my serrated edges are not as obvious as yours and not as pretty as yours
Selected questions and answers from the original post:
Q: What variety is it? Galaxy?
A: No, it is Qiangdiao
Q: How did you adjust it? I just bought a pot of panicle hydrangea
A: This is a big-leaf hydrangea. In the later stage of blooming, they all turn green. It is not adjusted. I do not know about panicle hydrangeas
Q: Are these the same plant at different stages?
A: Yes, if hydrangeas are not cut off in the later stage of blooming, they will turn retro-colored
