What disease causes pigs to die after diarrhea and panting? Urgent need of treatment methods

General News 0 views
Pigs have diarrhea, then pant, then die. Urgently asking experts for advice!
I raise pigs myself, on a small scale with little money, and I can't afford a camera to take and send photos, but I'll try to describe things in as much detail as possible. Please read patiently and give plenty of guidance!
A litter of 3-month-old piglets, about 30 kg, suddenly lost one 20 days ago. Because there had been a strong stress stimulus, I didn't do a necropsy, as it may have died from stress. On November 11, I found pigs with diarrhea, but during those days I myself had a severe cold and didn't carefully observe the pigs' condition. After the diarrhea appeared, I therefore observed this litter carefully and found that the smallest one had pale skin, had already become thin, and staggered when walking, with no other symptoms. Another one coughed and panted. The one with diarrhea was still relatively better. That day I injected all three pigs with lincomycin + spectinomycin + astragalus polysaccharide, and injected ofloxacin on the other side. On the 12th the symptoms had not improved, and the panting pig had difficulty breathing and red ears, while the pig with diarrhea had red patches on its ears. I continued injecting lincomycin + spectinomycin + astragalus polysaccharide, and injected sulfamonomethoxine on the other side. On the 13th the panting one was more severely affected, with purple ears, and the pig with diarrhea had purplish-black congestion on both sides of the midline of the rump, about the size of a coin. I continued injecting lincomycin + spectinomycin + astragalus polysaccharide, and injected sulfamonomethoxine on the other side. The disease still continued to progress, and the other pigs began to pass yellow feces like feed mixed and moistened with water. I added mequindox to the feed and electrolytes and multivitamins to the water. And I stopped injecting drugs.
On the 17th the smallest one died, and on the 18th the panting one died. The necropsy results are as follows:
The smallest one: body pale, able to stand on its legs around the time near death. Heart and lungs unchanged. Liver larger than normal, but no other changes. Spleen severely enlarged, enlarged 2 times. Intestinal wall thin, no changes found on the inner wall, intestinal contents orange-yellow, mesenteric lymph nodes enlarged like cords, no congestion or other changes, only enlargement. Kidneys slightly lighter in color, and on the side of the kidney that was against the ground after death there was a patch of congestion, with no other changes. Although I majored in veterinary medicine, after graduation I have never worked on pig diseases, so I am still a novice, and there were many places I did not examine. I hope you will forgive me.
The panting one: ears and nose purple, body purple before death. Heart unchanged. Lungs should count as emphysema, in patches, whitish, and after twisting open they were all bubbles. There were bleeding points on the outer edge of the lungs. Liver enlarged, much larger, with a patch of congestion on one liver tip, and the liver edge was especially thin. Spleen purplish-black in color, with no enlargement or necrosis. There were two very small ulcers on the gastric mucosa. Intestinal wall thin, blood vessels congested, mesenteric lymph nodes not enlarged, and no ulcers seen on the inner intestinal lining either. I don't know whether that counts as the ileum or what intestine, very thin, and all gas, orange-yellow contents. The large intestine feces were in small pellets, one pellet at a time. No bleeding points seen in the bladder either. The epiglottic cartilage was actually not very white, yellowish, and there were blood streaks on it, but no bleeding points seen either.
On the 18th I injected the remaining 6 pigs with 9 doses of classical swine fever cell vaccine. Starting on the 17th I added oxytetracycline to the feed, and starting on the 19th I added norfloxacin powder to the water.
At present the pig with diarrhea is still having diarrhea, grayish-yellow, still a bit green, watery diarrhea, and there is still congestion on the rump. Another one passes thin porridge-like feces, glossy and shiny, normal in color. The feces of the other pigs are also not especially normal, loose and crumbly, with no other symptoms. Appetite is still more or less normal. I think this litter of pigs is a bit drowsy.
Next to this litter are 2-month-old piglets, with no abnormalities seen, and the other sows and fattening pigs also show no abnormalities. My scale is small, just over 60 head. I hope everyone can help offer advice. Starting a business is not easy for me, and I can't withstand a big blow. Thank you!!!
--------------------------------------
For those pigs with diarrhea, first rehydrate. Also inject gentamicin. See whether it works.
--------------------------------------
Use compound enzyme yeast; it can quickly increase feed intake, strengthen antibodies, and relieve symptoms.
--------------------------------------
The first one should be streptococcal disease. The second is viral diarrhea. The third should be infectious pleuropneumonia.
Pay attention to keeping warm and do a good job with the drug prevention program.
