How is salt content measured? Please advise on the specific method

Asking for advice on the determination of salt content
Asking all the teachers about the method for determining salt content in feed. I feel the traditional silver nitrate method has some problems. Do any of you teachers have other methods that can determine the sodium ion content?
Hehe, I hope it is a simpler method.

The endpoint of this method is a bit hard to judge, but I still use this method.
There is nothing good to improve

After carbonizing in a muffle furnace and burning it into ash, dissolve it, filter it, and then titrate with silver nitrate, which is more obvious and accurate

Dissolve?? Dissolve with what??? Please advise.. Thank you

We have always used silver nitrate for the determination, right?

It should be fine to dissolve it with water, because sodium chloride is soluble in water.

Using silver nitrate titration to determine salt content has relatively large error. We have always used the national standard GB/T6439-92 for the determination; the method is accurate and highly practical.

Now there seems to be a test strip method for determining salt content, but the specific method is still being compared. If successful, it should be simpler..

We use a rapid-test pH meter, but the salt content is indeed unstable, with relatively large error

Try using the chloride ion selective electrode method to measure salt content
