Why can't steam be added during pelletizing?
I increased the amount of wheat in the feed formula, but the temperature during pelletizing is only around 60°C. Could an expert please advise why steam can't be added?
--------------------------------------
It has little to do with how much wheat is added. You should check your pelletizing equipment.
--------------------------------------
Could there be a problem somewhere with the steam? Or maybe the coal is poor and the temperature can't be raised. Check every pipe carefully!
--------------------------------------
1 Check the steam quality, whether the moisture content is too high. 2 Check the conditioner paddles, whether there is uneven conditioning. 3 Consider the feed rate, whether it doesn't match the material flow rate.
--------------------------------------
What the person above said is good, I agree.
--------------------------------------
The formula is very unlikely to be the cause; it's mainly an equipment problem!
--------------------------------------
The equipment is fine. Before using wheat, the steam temperature could reach 75-85°C.
--------------------------------------
Lower the steam pressure, use saturated steam, and add some coarse ingredients to increase resistance.
--------------------------------------
Try reducing the compression ratio.
--------------------------------------
Reducing the compression ratio will definitely produce powder....
--------------------------------------
Then it's the raw materials' moisture content that is too high.
--------------------------------------
It's probably a steam pressure problem. How much pressure is entering the conditioner?
