Cherry Valley ducks raised dry tend to develop feather pecking when the season changes. Is it caused by nutritional factors or by stress? Metabolizable energy 2650, crude protein 14.5%, lysine 0.7%, methionine + cystine 0.62%. The main ingredients are corn, wheat middlings, rice bran, rapeseed meal, brewer's grains, DDGS, feather meal, palm kernel meal; ducks raised in water do not show this phenomenon. At 45 days of rearing they weigh about 7 jin.

Supplement: the lysine content should be 0.7%
---------------------
Have you calculated the sulfur-containing amino acid content? You may consider adding sulfur ion sources: sodium sulfate, calcium sulfate
Depending on how much zinc ion is present, you may consider adding zinc methionine

Also the amount of sodium ions
Add anti-stress drugs, or have the farm supplement them itself
---------------------
Sulfur-containing amino acids 0.62%, sodium sulfate 2.5 kg, salt 2.2 kg, no gypsum powder used. Cherry Valley ducks raised in ponds do not show feather pecking; only those raised on dry land show feather pecking, and it is fairly common.

Adding gypsum powder has an obvious effect.

You may consider adding some gypsum powder and trying it, but why do only dry-raised Cherry Valley ducks peck feathers on the same feed? Why do those raised by ponds not show this phenomenon?
