The Suqian, Jiangsu piglet fraud gang needs everyone to join forces to bring them to justice
Please everyone join hands to bring the "Suqian, Jiangsu piglet fraud gang" to justice
To friends I have never met:
Hello everyone!
You may be hardworking farmer brothers raising pigs, or entrepreneurs running large-scale farms, or friends with no connection to "pigs" at all. Since you have come in, I hope you can lend a hand, even just by bumping this post, and help us helpless farmer brothers who have been deeply hurt by the "Suqian, Jiangsu piglet" fraud gang.
In recent years, on websites, online forums, QQ groups and other related media, all kinds of piglet information advertisements centered on the Suqian area of Jiangsu are often seen. Among this information there is no shortage of very low market prices, good after-sales service and excellent quality guarantees to attract the great masses of pig-raising farmer brothers, luring us step by step into the abyss.
I am an ordinary farmer. After working for 6 years in Guangdong, I saved 80,000 yuan, plus a 30,000 yuan loan from Agricultural Bank of China, and was preparing to develop a breeding business back home. In May 2009 I made contact through the internet with the Suqian, Jiangsu piglet swindlers Xu and Ge. Xu and Ge used all kinds of deceptive methods to lure me to Suqian, Jiangsu to inspect piglets; on September 26, 2009 I purchased 127 piglets from Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, for a total of more than 60,000 yuan. During transport, some died one after another; by the time they arrived home, 11 had already died; within one week after arriving home, a total of 53 had died; after one month, a cumulative total of 122 had died. Afterwards I contacted the swindlers Xu and Ge many times with no result, and the swindlers even said such words as "We have never actually paid compensation here." More than 60,000 yuan really means nothing to a multimillionaire; skipping one overseas trip would save that much. But for a farmer, that is half a lifetime's savings. At present I have almost reached the point of my wife and children being scattered.
In October 2009 and November 2009, I went twice to the so-called "piglet breeding bases" in Suqian, Jiangsu to investigate. The investigation found that there are a great many fraud gangs in this area, with the number of swindlers reaching over a thousand. Locally, these fraud gangs have already propped up a complete side industrial chain, with annual transaction amounts of about 800 million yuan, and countless deceived farmer brothers from all over the country. And these poor farmer brothers, because of weak legal awareness, had not kept sufficient evidence, and did not have enough money to go to court, so in the end they had no choice but to accept their bad luck. I have roughly summarized the swindlers' fraud methods as follows:
1. Low quotes online or by phone; the swindlers' quotes are basically only half the normal market price, or even lower, to attract customers to Suqian, Jiangsu to inspect piglets, and they promise free food and lodging; but once the customers arrive locally, the swindlers call the shots. Every person the customers come into contact with locally is a member of their gang, because the customers' freedom has already been restricted by the swindlers, and the customers simply have no way to obtain true market information until the transaction is completed; if after inspecting the customers find that the swindlers' original quote does not match reality and do not complete the transaction, then the customers need to pay a high "reception fee," at least several hundred yuan, or at most several thousand yuan; and the actual local transaction price is about 2 times the swindlers' original quote.
2. Promising good after-sales service and excellent quality guarantees; the swindlers generally promise that the quality of the piglets is guaranteed, and that if piglet deaths occur within one week, the so-called breeding base will be responsible; if the customers complete a transaction locally, the swindlers will sign a so-called contract with the customers, stating that if piglet deaths occur within 3 to 5 days, the seller is responsible for compensation; but when the customers' piglets truly die in large numbers, the swindlers will not answer the customers' calls within those 3 to 5 days, or else will not discuss the specific actual compensation issue and will find excuses to stall. When the 3 to 5 day quality guarantee period has passed, no matter how many of the customers' piglets have died, the swindlers use the excuse "the compensation period agreed in the contract has passed" to put them off, and the contract becomes a mere scrap of paper.
3. Pay after the piglets are delivered home; in order to dispel the customers' concerns, the swindlers will promise in advance "pay after the piglets are delivered home"; when the customers complete a transaction locally and finish loading the piglets onto the truck, the swindlers will demand that the customers pay immediately, otherwise the customers are not allowed to leave the transaction site even half a step.
4. Free delivery to the home; the swindlers agree in advance that as long as the customers buy more than 100 piglets, they can be delivered home free of charge; in fact, if the actual transport cost for the customers is about 3 yuan per head, and the swindlers find a truck for the customers, the customers will have to pay at least 5 yuan per head in transport fees, because the swindlers also take a kickback from the driver.
5. Strict market inspection and quarantine; looking closely at these advertisements, one will find that they all say "already vaccinated against swine fever, erysipelas, pasteurellosis and other vaccines, and with strict market inspection and quarantine, inspection and quarantine certificates will be issued by the local animal husbandry department, etc."; investigation found that in the trading market with several thousand piglets every day, there has never been any real inspection and quarantine. The inspection and quarantine the swindlers talk about is the quarantine fee of 5 yuan per piglet that customers must pay, and the swindlers or the market give the customers a certificate so that they can be checked along the way, while inspection and quarantine become empty talk.
6. Large investment, large scale, strict management; in order to win the customers' trust, the swindlers will say that their breeding base or farm has invested several hundred or even tens of millions, is extremely large in scale, has several hundred sows, and sells more than ten thousand piglets a year; but in reality, the swindlers may not have a single pig. The breeding base or farm the swindlers talk about is the motley piglet trading market, such as the Longmiao, Wuji, Jiangxia and other trading markets in Shuyang County; the piglets in the trading markets are all bought from rural areas by small vendors, some even from Shandong. Wherever it is cheap, the small vendors will go there to buy piglets; they do not care at all about what epidemic situation exists; in fact, the cheaper the piglets are in epidemic areas, the more often the small vendors go in and out of those high-incidence areas; precisely for this reason, plus cross-infection of piglets in the market, the local pig epidemic situation in Suqian is very serious, with common cases of "porcine high fever mixed infection + latent swine fever," and a mortality rate of 20% to 90%; in a local investigation in Shuyang County, not a single large-scale farm or breeding base as described online was found.
7. Beautiful "official" websites; searching "piglet" online and casually clicking in, one will find that the websites of ** farms or ** breeding bases are very beautiful, and even all the so-called certificates such as "business license, tax registration certificate, ** association unit, ** region designated piglet allocation unit, ** animal husbandry bureau designated unit" are complete; these promotional materials are basically fake. The cost of making such a website is about 2,000-3,000 yuan, and if the swindlers succeed just once, that is enough to cover the cost of making several similar websites.
At present, because there are many victims and the geographical range is widely distributed, plus the protective measures adopted by the local government for GDP, cases are very difficult to win locally. Farmer brothers who have been victimized, please contact me quickly after seeing this article, or leave your contact information so it is convenient to get in touch with you; also please, friends, help pass on the message to the victimized farmer brothers around you, and contact me quickly; let us all together take up the legal weapon to defend our lawful rights and interests, strive for compensation, and also let the fraud gangs receive the punishment they deserve. I can only say that being greedy for small gains leads to big losses. When you do something, you first have to analyze whether there is profit in it for them; they are not doing charity either. If you calculate it and find that there is simply no way they could make a profit, then being deceived is inevitable.

Suqian is famous for this. As long as it is agricultural products, chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, seedlings, it has a reputation outside. Since you are online, you should be able to find it, especially Shuyang.

People around me have also been fooled. At the time I advised him not to believe in pie falling from the sky, but he just would not believe it. Sigh!

I have heard of this kind of situation many times.
